I think being able to play an instrument is the greatest gift.

A few years ago, when I had to leave one of my music schools after getting married, one of my students, a 10-year-old girl at the time, surprised me by playing "Butterfly" by Kaela Kimura on the day of my last lesson.

She had only been playing the violin for about a year and had never studied positional shifts, but I was moved to tears when I saw her make full use of them and perform the song.

She said, "Actually, I practiced by myself for three weeks, but I couldn't play it well and thought about quitting, but I knew I would definitely regret it if I didn't play it, so I did my best!" She said with a look of accomplishment on her face.

We can entertain, please, comfort, and heal someone with my playing.

There is great power in music that is played with someone in mind and with a wish for something.

It is not about getting good at it. Through music and musical instruments, I want them to know the joy of having a goal and making steady efforts. And by gaining a sense of accomplishment, you can enrich your mind and become kinder to others and society.

It is not easy to continue and grow in anything.

My musical life has had its twists and turns, but I would like to walk with you so that you can lead a wonderful musical life, not rushing, being yourself, and above all, enjoying music.

I hope that you will think that being able to play an instrument is a treasure that will last a lifetime.
